According to some tests in various magazines and the data information of Panasonic distinguish the two really only in the presence of a digital input (DV - In).
Both cameras have the same synonymous manual.

@ Guest: 3.1 MP photos can both NV-GS280, NV-GS300 and NV-GS320 make.
The difference between the 320er and 300 of lies, I believe only in DV - In? (300: DV-in = yes; 320: DV in = no) I knew in any case no other differences.
