Infoseite // Panasonic VDR-D250, such as DVD material on PC?

Hi Folks, I have the following problem:

We want the future of the company in a few small video clips rotate. As a camcorder, the Panasonic VDR-D250 to the movies on DVD-RW stores.

I now have 2 options, the DVD's format:

- The "video", hiebei after the finalization of a finished DVD-Video DVD produced, which I apparently no longer can handle

- As "vr", this feature seems to finishing them, after the finalization of the DVD is a directory "DVD_RTAV" produced, in which each one. Bup; a. Ifo and a. Vro file is created.

I would now like to the raw material with Windows Movie Maker editing, but the program can be with the two above-produced DVD's do not start, so I can not capture my raw material.

What should I do?

Hi Stephan,

if your requirement is "I would like the raw material with Windows Movie Maker Edit," then take a DV camcorder, not a DVD camcorder. DV camcorders are all the video editing of programs, a DVD camcorder is not.

That is unfortunately not because we in the company just happens to have this camcorder.

So, how can I get the raw material to the PC, so that I can edit it?

IMO There are only two entry-level video editing programs, with the recording of a DVD camcorder can handle. What they are, but here you have to even search times. I do not know by heart.

Ach so, then does it with Movie Maker can not do you? Well, at the Camera is probably a program to have been, then I look at it tomorrow.

If only the question of whether I use the DVD as "video" or "vr" format in order to edit it afterwards to be able to. Had so stupid if we are filming tomorrow 5 hours and afterwards I noticed that I can not handle it.
