Hello,
Panasonic camcorder which takes synonymous to the NTSC format and will play this format?
I note, scared that my GS 300 is not synonymous, and 500 over the GS does not have this property. The Sony can almost everyone. Even Sony, which I had before the GS 300 and I've still has this feature.
As I linger for several months each year in the United States and South Korea, I have to rely heavily.
Get me otherwise probably have to part again of the GS300 and move to the Sony camp. Schade eigentlich.

eg SonyDCR-TRV 310 and 340 - last I still synonymous.
You can select how you want to play: PAL or NTSC - Genial well.
Too bad that today's * sooo * good models but no longer can. Regression. Except for Sony, which can probably still there.
EDIT:
Location just found that even the top models of Sonydas can no longer synonymous. My 4 years young TRV 340 but it can. Strange.
I'll probably be on my GS-300 camcorder, another in South Korea or Japan to buy when I'm at 8 weeks there again.

okay play may perhaps be possible ... but you have not spoken of recording? or models is the synonymous with the above?
Of which you are called mini-DV or older models? know me in the sony product name not be made - and am too lazy to look up-... ;)

They can play it, not synonymous record.
But thought that it may be the current models. In view of globalization.
The DCR-TRV 340 is a Sony camcorder only 4 years ago was on the market. It was multiple test winner (VHS Digital 8 format)
And when I look at the pictures and compare with the GS300, then the difference is so marginal that a huge disappointment occurs.
Good, the GS300 is more compact, but is better equipped SonyTRV340, however, synonymous with double weight.
Actually, I did not) like a smaller camcorder and not the current Sony Mini DVs (design, otherwise I would have never changed after Panasonic.
But no preference, I'll look around in South Korea and Japan and Korea probably buy myself a good Samsung camcorder. The top models that exist there, are never before come to here, but they are brilliant, like everything in this high-tech country (my home is).
