Frage von Moritz2009:Following problem, which we explain, or even nobody can solve:
We have recently made a film for a client can produce. This movie has been burned to DVD (in the popular formats: mpeg, mov, etc.)
Now it turns out that he had on many PCs not running. The Picture jerky, the sound comes irregular. We have him on the latest laptops and older computers to run it (Windows Media Player, VLC, etc.). Time he runs, but mostly not. It is jerky and jerky. Taking other DVDs (film), but these run on the same machines on which our film but not running.
The reason being? Has someone an idea? Our customer begins s.zu doubt s.uns ...! We are stumped!
Antwort von Spreeni:
Why do ye not created a standards-compliant DVD? If the customer so that it runs smoothly but everything should be clear.
Using the film for MPEG, AVI or MOV container format (although there are still on the used codec, resolution, bit rate etc. arrives) but you never know whether appropriate codecs or players on the client PCs or MACs are installed .
So, always nice s.die standards, then there's the fewest problems!

Hi Moritz2009,
I did not quite understand, do you have a video DVD or data DVD with a MPEG file created?
If you have a video DVD, you play because the problem?
What often leads to bucking, bitrates are too high for the production of DVD or MPEG file. I can imagine that it perhaps the highest possible quality you set. Many software and players have problems. Render your movie times with a lower bit rate (2500) and try it out again.

If only the video clip to a DVD should be - not as "normal" video dvd - then I can only recommend TMPGEnc .. makes the standard mpg files, which should run anywhere. mpg is not the best quality, but I think the komformste ....
Of course there are already mp4 now synonymous - but is "too new" for him to play Stone calculators.

Thank you first for the many replies.
Initially we have a data DVD burned. We have it now with a video-DVD tries. On our PC is running the movie now without bucking in audio and video. We are now in the video DVD on other PCs to test it. If this is the solution of our problem was: Thank you.
If not, we will the other proposed solutions to tackle.
