I am an absolute beginner in video editing. But maybe a little problem with Studio 8, which I have no AVI files under the heading'2. Edit 'reads. What am I doing wrong here.
My Hardware:
Asus P4P800se; P4 2.53 GHz, 512 MB RAM, VGA = NVIDIA Geforce 5700LE;
Would be nice if someone could help me. Tell me not now that I have to use a newer version, since I currently use for my house when I would like to remain present.

Hello,
following: I have a movie in AVI format, which is already on the record. This I would now like to edit with Studio 8, and then re-save as mpg. This is because my satellite receiver, with AVI's nothing can start. So AVI studio purity. bischen edit, and dannals mpg out again.
