While I am up to no longer beginners, but with the program and little PC experience. I'm working with Pinnacle Studio 9 Pros Vers.9.4 my calculator has the following configuration:
- CPU AMD Athlon 64 3000 +
- Sim 512MB DDR PC400 expanded to 1024 MB
- HDD 160 GB Seagate 7.200rpm - expanded 2nd hard drive with 250 GB
- VGA 128 MB GeForce FX 5200
I have currently a Project of about 60 minutes into work, the album is about 4 hours of film material is stored.
If I have a comment or insert background music, or do I always need a few Sec. (3-5) to wait until I can work next. If the calculator every 180 Sec. secure (it is set in the app) then it is often 25-30 Sec. until I can do next. I put the cursor (in edit mode) in the Project s.eine exbelibige place and then go to play are not always but most of the first syllables of the comment or the hacked Music (stutters 4-5 syllables) and then they realize.
For this reason, I made a new fast PC purchased. with the following configuration:
Dell Dimension E 520 (Core2 2.4GHz, 2GB, 2x250 GB)
- 2x2, 4 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 4 MB Cache
- 2 GB Sata II hard drive 7200 rpm
-16 Fach DVD + /-RW drive
- ATI Radeon x 1300 pro video card
- 256 MB, Analog/DVI/S- Video
- Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme sound card
- Micrisoft Windows XP Professional SP2
The card from Pinnacle Program (Final analog camera and dig.) I wanted in the new Recner installed, it was not Winows crashed ab.Ich has been able to work with Pinnacle (edit mode) but the program was still slower than on my old PC.
Camera was synonymous not connect because of the card.
I now have the following questions:
1) Pinnacle is really so slow or is it s.meinem PC?
2) why Pinnacle is faster on the new PC still slow?
fits the Dell PC is not to adjust the Pinnacle does not work together?
3) I wanted my studio 10 or 11 to get the new calculator, but if the 9er not running then how is it with the 10s which is probably still is extensive.

Hello, with this question, perhaps you're in the Pinnacle forum better.
On my Athlon system (Athlon XP 2800 +) run studio 9.4 Pros fairly quickly with DV and Mpeg2 material, although for reasonable Mpeg cut this version is not particularly suitable as Ulead Video Studio is much better.

I still cut the 4:3 format.
An important question for me is why does the Pinnacle card is not on my new calculator, and why is he in the processing of Pinnacle slower than the old one where he is of the equipment should be faster?
