Frage von stalag-vi-f:Hello,
I would quite like to know what that means:
I have a JVC D-325e. The network is that it has 800,000 pixels. In parentheses then it effectively: 400,000 pixels
What does this mean?
I take it on Mini DV with 0.8 or 0.4 on?
Who, if somehow the 7th .. x ... or 6 is .. x sounsoviel pixels?
I would really appreciate an answer on!
Antwort von PowerMac:
pal = 0.4mpx
Antwort von Bernd E.:
PAL = 720 x 576 pixels
The remaining pixels are from the electronic Image Stabilization or function of the photon (if any) used.

Where there are two pros just mention, I turned to the question of why it is so widespread, the PAL television standard with SD (standard definition) equate?
SD stands for PAL: 720 × 576 pixels, but as the PAL television standard is synonymous with 1440 × 1080 or 1280 × 720 pixels come along.

What? That I do not understand.

proved to me the question why it is so widespread, the PAL television standard with SD (standard definition) equate? Maybe you throw the sake of simplicity, therefore, in a pot because it is in general usage it has established. Thus we read in many articles, such as on www.digitalfernsehen.de: "PAL, the current European standard, has a Resolutionvon 576 vertical lines and 720 horizontal lines."
PAL television standard can be synonymous with 1440 × 1080 or 1280 × 720 pixels come along. If these Resolutions synonymous in practice? PAL is actually just a really Farbcodierverfahren, as such, nothing about the Resolutionaussagt. Actual application seems PAL but then only in SD Resolutionzu find, so the equation would also be explained.

Antwort von Markus:
Also HD (V)-images are color-coded, as well as SD video. Only that in HD (V) the resolution of differences disappear. The Bildwechselfreqenz remains, however, differ (50 / 60 Hz).
Antwort von PowerMac:
"The PAL color system used is usually a video format with 625 lines per picture and have a Picture Transfer rate of 25 frames per second"
Antwort von Markus:
Patrick, look look at the parameters of PAL-M to. - Yes yes, I know ... "normally" ... ;-)
Antwort von PowerMac:
Ready for a war in technical shoptalk? ;)
That I am good, if it is synonymous little interested in me ...
I said yes synonymous "PAL" and not "PAL-M".

Ready for a war in technical shoptalk? ;) Ah, who needs a war already! I think the thread would just become very long and no one would be really interested ... even you and me! ;-)
