Hello,

have a problem with my SonyHDR HC7.

I am my previously recorded tapes (6-7 pcs.) Via iLink to my computer or DVD recorder to capture. When playing the tape freezes Picture and Sound s.einigen certain places for a brief second a run and then next. There are always the same place, about 2-3 per tape. I'm trying it again and then sometimes it works normally, sometimes it stops again. Quite annoying. Are the heads dirty even after 6 (Sony) tapes and perhaps 20 hours duration of the Cam? Should I get a Reinigungscassette use? Or has nothing to do?

In the editing software is not a new file is created s.diesen bodies.

If there is ever exactly the same points on a tape, then it is the cause of the recording by. It came to time code breaks? Or are s.den concerned bodies drop-outs to recognize? - That would be (depending on the capture tool) typical causes for terminating the capturing and the interruption duration (half a second) speaks for a GOP-length (I-frame affected).

So stopping s.genau is always the same places and not only when capturing but synonymous with the "normal" playing. If I were two-three times on the site go, it usually happens again and not everything is in order. Annoying but natural. Weiss someone, so this phenomenon is linked together?

The Picture shows, however, no dropouts, just a cold.

The halbsekündige freezing of the picture s.der always same place is very typical for an HDV dropout sI frame. That is when you play sometimes still work, hang with the error correction together. HDV dropouts speak out because of the image compression group unlike DV dropouts.
