Hello people,
I hope I can help someone.
I can on my pc (winxp) only play mpg or mpeg's.
all other files (mwv, mov, avi Reuters ect.) I can not play.
in the player, although I've set häkchen before all input, but he still can not play them.
it always appears "file can not be played"
I have directx 9 and it actually runs everything synonymous (sims2. itunes, google earth)
only the movie files are not running?
I would really appreciate if I would say once a person, what could be the reason

MNV do not exist, do you mean WMV files?
MOV files you can play with Quicktime Player or an alternative for it. The player can you undercharged for free from Apple.
ASF and WMV files to the latest Windows Media Player should play smoothly if it is ASF or WMV files and not cloaked things.
AVI files are Hakel. You can squeeze into AVI files with the data compressor (encoder) and if the appropriate decompressor (decoder, codec) is not on your calculator, you can not play the file.
How do you try to play the videos? In Media Player with File-> Open (File-recommended> Open) () or by double clicking the file name (not recommended). The double click is a security risk and can go wrong if the assignment of files to programs "Open with ..." is defective
Helpful for diagnosis is when you describe any error messages as accurately as possible.

because this explains quite a bit (synonymous thanks for the reference that the files do not click twice in order to open them)
the only thing that makes me suspicious now that is done in the wmv's usually with a liznevergabe? what have intervention. I have no wmv file that I can open.

I suspect that not every WMV video movies from P2P networks actually calls for a regular license contracting when it is calling. OK, what it takes then, can be wide-area coverage as a "license" (described Zum. ..).
