Seeking a satellite receiver with the following characteristics:
Mind. 80 GB hard drive
Dual tuner (with picture-in-Picture feature)
Firewire or USB2 output
Simple editing function and assembly
(Optional happy with DVD Recorder)
Good to me like the Humax 9700, but who had no digital video output and
while recording program sometimes failed.
I as a little flirting with the Topfield 5500PVR, or can anyone recommend a different / better device!?

With the Topfield you hit the nail on the head. An easy and stable software device with fast switching times. On the Humax I can not say anything. Their strategic advantage should be rather close partnership with Premiere. Even with HDTV will have the most to offer more devices. Topfield I guess because of the "no bullshit" design of its devices. No gimmicks, no fuss design in love ... simply a convenient device with a competent and therefore often helpful user community (see http://www.topfield.de/). I have the 4000s and am very satisfied.
Eighth in the choice of hard disks on the right models. Some inexpensive models causing Writing / Leseverzögerungen. Information about the right model can be found in the forum.

The Topfield 5000 is strongly recommended. If you can afford it to you, then never pick up the Humax PDR9700. Den I did. Only because of Premiere. Although synonymous in the Topfield as you go but btrauchst a CI module (100 ¬). The Humax has bugs and is impossible without end against the Topfield a real crutch (transferring to the PC, because password is stored hard drive on (any)).
Take the Topfield or browse around for times Dreamboxen. I do not synonymous know if 's is not synonymous of Technisat is a model. With these devices, I was always very happy synonymous alone (the EPG ...).
