I bought a used XL1s that works great. There is only one comic polarization effect in the viewfinder. The picture here is very dark and looks like an "American night". If I turn off the eyepiece, as if I wanted to turn him to the left or right eye, then the picture is again bright and clear as it should be. Even if the eyepiece, I think only in the viewfinder and turn, this effect is evident.
I have only very slightly rotate the eyepiece on the viewfinder, so it is still held without falling away so that I can recognize some what. Is there an undocumented trick or should I exchange the part?
