I would like to know what when you buy a Firewire cable should look out for.
What do the various claims such as "fully shielded, double shielded, or if the contacts are gold plated or not.
If you get a cable with appropriate plugs or you could buy a universal cable synonymous take where all three possibilities, ie 3 FireWire connections (4p-4p, 4p-6p, 6p-6p) with a cable, are possible?
What does all this for advantages or disadvantages?
