Hello,
I have a question regarding the sub and Encore Pictures - So I created with Photoshop and a DVD menu as a sub picture is there little man, son, that displays them according to Choice. Now it is so that the males in Photoshop, still looks as it should and when I get the PSD file into Encore open this male is Ziehmlich zerpixelt ... so definitely ugly. Question now is whether there is a general limitation in the quality of Sub Pictures or if someone can tell me what I must respect? Import settings for menus in Encore's yes, there is not (at least I have not found it, but my program is now synonymous with the not so versed in Depth)

Do not know if I understand correctly subpictures. But if this is the overlay graphics to be marked as an active button, then the mW, in fact, are limited to only 1 color that can be colored using the color palettes in Encore accordingly for the different states (not selected, active and pressed). A possible anti-aliasing, as they may have created in Photoshop for the corresponding subpicture level is at least ignored when playing a DVD and converted to monochrome bitmaps. Formerly nice graphics can be so - depending on their level of detail (as we write this? "- Another word: complexity;) look - very pixelated.

exactly - I mean with the "Sub Picture" ... so sub picture and overlay (Sonic in Avid). Well, then you have to live so well

Only I have recently produced a DVD synonymous with Premiere or Encore and myself working more closely synonymous with the buttons, etc.. I included this one of the buttons made and adapted for my purposes - and there they synonymous provides that those buttons are one color overlay:

Subpictures can have a maximum of three different solid colors, which in Encore via Color Schemes (or something like that ... I can not Encore grad) will be defined before me. Nice antialiasing of edges and so will not do. The best thing that has already taken into account in the design of subpictures. Is an unpleasant, but apparently the definition of the DVD not be avoided, this feature highlights.
I just got worked times (relative difficulty with the online help) in this issue, which was initially quite confusing.
Why not buzz like the look of the prefabricated subpictures buttons in Encore. Everything is more complicated, will not work. Well ...
