I just got mal ne DVD (backup copy of an original DVD does not play copy-loaded) and with PowerDVD. The picture was okay, but was no sound. Also in the options I've tried out all the available audio options (Dolby surround / QXpander and stereo).
Nothing!
With VLC player, which really is as good as everything is happening, it works immediately, just in the audio options of "disabled" to "soundtrack 1" switch, and everything went well.
In my opinion, the VLC is still the best player! Even if playback of DVD. I just wanted to get rid of times.
