Frage von handiro:Hello I am looking for an alternative to QT with which I can record 12 hours of shooting a DV cam via FW on my powerbook G4 OSX 10.4.11.
For quick tips I would be extremely grateful!

Ok, thank you! The time is already one that I did not know, and inexpensive to !.... my problem is that QT gives me only 3 options of recording codecs: MPEG 4 - H264 and Native, and Native rattles when the Gigabit .... I now need 12 hours of good quality (TV analysis), gibts da alternatives to raw DV? If I had more options in QT, at least ..... I would not synonymous H264 rich 320x240 but 758x520! Gibts not have any QT add ons? I have QT Pro 7.4.6
I need to build the whole thing in a car ...

12h DV is on today's disk sizes no longer a problem, and walks in when the stuff already in native DV, I would record it as synonymous, is synonymous to an uncritical nem G4 PB.
Need halt so 160Gbyte free disk space ;-)
BTV on demand automatically segmented into 2GB files, it would make me synonymous s.deiner agency, 12h s.Stück would be too sensitive. Really s.Stück, or in between you have time to outsource?
BTV is not synonymous native resolutions and codecs - maybe once you try on MotionJPEG A / B with as 640/480 and low to moderate compression, which perhaps gives it 1-2Mbyte / s. DV native has about 3.5MByte / s.
Halt Mach mal nen Test - anyway have 15 days trial period.
The software is a bit dusty, but works perfectly and has some nice features, vector scope, histogram, etc. Do we have occasion for DV shoot as a preview monitor s.MacBook used to 'exposure-control'.
What is the idea behind the Project?
