Very nice report tallies in the criticisms about 30 hours with my EX1 experience. I would be only the telephoto range even more interested in the EX1 I was not really usable, and with plenty of blurred CA.

Seems to me for the price adequate. I see something different, I turn now synonymous with the XHA1 much in the 20x telephoto range especially on construction sites to dramatically "dense" image to get.
The EX1 has a significantly less powerful telephoto lens, but in my testing, only the first 8 levels really were safe to use ..... the film was in the practice, a joke.
An invaluable reference point for all, particularly by the footage, thank you again for this. please .... look at times in the night sleep recordings from Bremen on a free-market FullHD big screen, I'm still excited of the colors and Bilddurchzeichnung.

By "price okay" I wanted to say that exactly the Lowlight highlights that you've found synonymous, and the total quiet-looking Picture (subjective impression) in Comparison to the A1 will not be among them. Then I would the price of an A1 - I have - as a "hard okay" call ;-)

I could hardly believe that a CameraLink SONY sold at the tele so murk. The response of SONY of reason "is not a 10000 Euro expensive Lens" is an absolute impudence. Finally, Canon makes it at half price for the same launch a smaller focal length (and thus optical difficult) target area with 20x zoom coverage errors. Besides a bit of CA.
But I would rather spontaneously synonymous to a manufacturing error outliers then say, because I can not imagine that such a botch of a series may be introduced.
That would be the same if I am the eighth hour of work hours next compute with the words "I'm really tired and did not buck more, but you must still pay ...."

Sony had suggested to me weeks later another EX1 for a (subsequent) tests available. Since I am on the first return of the EX1 a note with my assigned errors had settled (there were more than I have described in the blog) and I had only asked: "Are the error now in the second production batch removed?" we have a second test of the first abandoned, he would probably not better.
A pity, I already had a Ex1 for me seen as a work horse, the image sensors are available for me until now the best just under 10,000 euros.

I had not the pleasure of the EX1 several hours to test. I was allowed only to the yard of sales and approximately a quarter of an hour the trial & error. This is me next to the awkward top-heavy (like my XL H1) have the power jerky (apparently synonymous in the series dispersion is frequently encountered).

The bugs are the EX1 but long story. With the current software, there are no errors Auflagemass more. Jerky zoom is no longer detectable and CA, as in the trunk's Test Cam, I had personally never found it. The housing parts, s.den the labeling abwischte to replace the service. It is now either a housing or other material for the label color is used. Because a font is to replace the past! Haklige switch, I had never. Only the power switch is a Katastophe-wievor. But the quality of the pictures are just absolutely top!

hello, I am pleased that one or the other artiekl read. I could not weaken telepark area and find the picture quality with'm very satisfied. For me, the camera simply zuwenig telepark, so I with the ex 3 liebäugel, although this really is an ugly duckling ... the problem is the lack of compatibility with other producers. the exchange of hard disk is not so true, blueray has by far not all, and XDCAM discs seem to me to remain a niche product. what is missing is a (affordable) standard!
with the canon xha 1 is often filmed previously ... synonymous a good picture, but terrible distortion in weitwinkel. turned in january on the volcanic island of Krakatoa and thus the horizon of the ocean is so bent upward, that I thought moses comes and shares the same sea. HDV I basically do not like, even on slow pans we blurred!
I have long years with the Canon XL series filmed, to me the xl 2 the fun is spoiled. from open aperture using a ND filter-ie, shortly before it rausnimmt-and in the telephoto range, there was partial blurring. we have checked with 3 cameras and all the trouble appeared to! canon meant that it is systemic and so must we accept ... sowas course continue to customers!

Because we have but with either the A1 with a WW-intent filmed or Moses was actually straight around the corner, because the distortions are (for the shortest focal that one was not forced to use) is very low.
As for the blurring of HDV panning covers: Denen synonymous escapes the EX-1, although it should be. The HDV sharpness falls in pans resulting in a much greater extent from the anamorphotic pixel ratio than the Mpeg2 compression (which the EX-1 so synonymous used in higher data rate
because of higher resolution), as in anamorphic Pal in Comparison to 4:3. This is in all sample clips clearly visible: A bad swing is a bad swing.
