Calculator: Gigabyte P35DS3P, Q6600, 4GB Ram, 2x SATA 500GB disk.
If I do a project with mixed AVI and MPEG files on the timeline after a short period of demolition.
When I first re-run, comes: Low Memory!
In Task Manager you see s.grünen bar for memory, there are still 2.5 GB free, but in the box with the memory allocation is: Phys. 4 GB of memory, cache, about 3 GB, Free: 0 MB.
When I start the new calculator, the following will happen: Without a program is started, ie at rest, changes within 3 min of the free space of approximately 3.5 GB and after it according to the cache over.
Premiere says then there would be no free memory, even though everything is free.
I Run premiere immediately after computer start, before the free space is an opportunity to his game, it is without error, pure synonymous AVI projects go.
I take a short MPEG file inside, comes back the memory error.
I can imagine, it is a Vista bug.

the same problem I have synonymous! although 2GB of DDR2 RAM is still not even a two-. avi to dv quality smooth visible. the cache is supposed to always be full, maybe he is not used effectively or so ...

Hi, turn but computer just by cutting away everything, what bothers. XP does that with msconfig in Vista certainly synonymous.
As amazing what comes together:
- The various (!) Scheduler for Real Player, Quicktime player, etc. etc. etc., the livelong day memory and computing time and nix wegnuckeln do next, sometimes referred to as an update to watch;
- The graphical interface of the soundcard, which does not sow; called for onboard sound usually SOUNDMAN.EXE;
- Any tools for external hard disks are included, such as OneTouch backup, for example;
- NeroCheck ever and all Nero services; for InCD I would just watch, or at least disable, not uninstall;

- ITunesHelper, Google Toolbar, Adobe Update Manager ...

As is any service or incompatible drivers somewhere. The behavior is mega-annormal. Vista tries while, pretty much everything to buffer and there is still aggressive than XP, but this has usually no effect on the use of programs ....
