Frage von noboundaries:I will take just over 3 h corresponding to low-quality video (3.2364 MBIT / s) on a 4.7 GB DVD. Unfortunately I can not do this premiere. The message reads, depending on whether I try iein ISO-Picture store "is not enough recording space on the disc" or "greater than 4.7 GB of space," I have carefully calculated the data rate and yesterday it has not worked. Directly burn is not synonymous. What's going on? Can we stop somewhere that he has a dual layer DVD with 8.5 GB to accept?

When I delete a few clips, so that a total of only 2:30 to come together, then the button will be reactivated ...
Why Premiere forbids me to pack more on the DVD?
Antwort von Markus:
Hello,
You have the data rate is actually calculated for a total capacity of 4.7 GB? It does not surprise me that!
Learn More:
By the binary number system ...
Antwort von noboundaries:
With the binary number system, I know my way. I took the DVD capacity in MB (as Nero Burning Rom 4480MB or so) and then the data rate of Mbit / s with a factor of 8 converted to MB / s.
To make doubly sure I have the total data rate times already scaled down to an absolute minimum, and synonymous since the button was grayed out. Bin s.verzweifeln genuine, the whole project with great attention to detail is finished, and now the export does not want me!
Antwort von Markus:
3h ... video ... (3.2364 MBIT / s) ... This brings me to 4.27 GB total, which should actually be enough room. If the specified data rate based on VBR or CBR? The film is exactly 180.0 minutes long?
With VBR, it might be possible that the margin is not enough if s.end the target data rate somewhat higher. In this case, you could try either the MPEG2 conversion time of recruitment CBR or with with an even lower rate.
Antwort von noboundaries:
Thank you! But does not work. I've just tried to set 1.5 Mbps CBR, the button remains gray. There are 183min. In order to be able to click the button I would have to slim down to a maximum of 120min.
Achso, I use a very economical menu, only the main menu and scene selection with animated clips.
Antwort von noboundaries:
It is obviously really a limitation 120min. Sowas stupid! I want the thread with the heading "Premiere Pro: DVDs with a maximum of 120 minutes?" create?
Antwort von Jörg:
Hi,
You thought all your calculations s.The size of the audio files?

Antwort von noboundaries:
No, I've actually forgotten. But now that I've even tried it with 1500MBit CBR and 192kbit audio but that should play no role anymore. Maybe even someone like to try out the times. Just make a clip for so long behind the basket are exceeded up to 120 minutes, and then try to export as a DVD.
Antwort von Markus:
Higher up there were still 2.5 hours ...
When I delete a few clips, so that a total of only 2:30 to come together, then the button will be reactivated ... What's wrong now?
Antwort von noboundaries:
I have no idea synonymous ;-)
... and I have no desire to try again ...
There is a correlation between the length of the exported material and the button. 180min not go defininitiv, unless I have overlooked a hidden option. There really is no editing software that can do everything.
In any case, if I omit s.end gradual clips will eventually reactivated the button. 120min would be logical for me, because the 4.7 GB discs are indeed officially approved for 120min.
Antwort von Jörg:
I raised several questions. Is it absolutely necessary to squeeze all the material on a DVD? 1500 is a data rate of the already very powerful quality to their knees forcing.
Why not use premium-quality, 2 DVDs? I feel a thousand times more valuable than the quality cost and time for ne windows.

Antwort von prem:
1500 I have stopped just to see if I can then export.
Actually should 3h in good quality about 3.4 Mbps (to go) on it. These are clips with little movement (lectures, only the speaker is moving). I will distribute the DVD s.viele people, so rather just a slice.
Antwort von VolkerS:
There was in old versions of Premiere for a maximum time limitation. Project length of 180 min. No idea whether this is Premiere Pro still is.
