Frage von EFS:Hello,
previously I used PP 1.5 with WinXP SP1, which I had uninstalled SP 2 from above ground again. The output on the PC monitor and the TV (via firewire) was absolutely synchronously.
PP 2 but requires the installation of SP2 - and the synchronicity is gone ... Install the old SP1 firewire drivers and MS patches brought no improvement.
Is there another way to restore the synchronous output again, or was it just a (positive) bug in SP1?
From the use of various NLE editing cards, I do not think much. Since my last (RT.X100Extreme) in retirement, it is my nerves and my PC much better ....
Thanks in advance

Hello,
on RT.X100 you do not hear much unless the compatibility lists of Matrox are not met. I have this video card itself in action, so I know the sensitivity of this real-time system. Most importantly I find the system of care using Image software. The unsuccessful installation of any program may impose on a will not spoil the day. ;-)
When I video output via IEEE1394 (separate PCI card, not RT.X100)> D / A converter> Video Monitor noble, I have a short temporal offset between PC and video output. So far, I thought it was perfectly normal and I seem to recall that synonymous other users had already reported it.
Could it have been due to an accident or very favorable circumstances, that the video output on your calculator via IEEE1394 was synchronously with premiere?

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply. The installation of the Matrox card was OK and the compatibility list, I have observed exactly synonymous. The work with the card, however, was far less liquid than those without - to me at the moment is only the eternal "updating timeline" in memory. I used video cards since the miro dc1 - but what we need them today? - Possibly for HD, but synonymous since I'm not sure.
Matrox has sold -> winxp sp1 + PP 1.5 reinstalled -> no time lag - installed> SP2 -> Time shift -> uninstall -> everything OK
The only thing I miss now that are well-made effects of Matrox, synonymous if I handle it very sparingly. The soft aperture appeared to me but here is much softer than that of PP.
Have a time offset from other users after SP2 is already reported, the proposed solutions (the old drivers, MS updates) with me, unfortunately not led to success.

Siegfried

Why is a sectional map?

These discussions I did not want to break the bridle, while the contribution provides a good overview of the advantages that are mentioned with many disadvantages, but no word - for me personally outweigh the present day. Then I'll take even better the time offset in Purchase and spare nerves (and account )..... But the decision must each find for themselves.
