Hi,
I've assembled a new Calculator synonymous and therefore had to reinstall the software. Had the old calculator synonymous already MSP 7 without any problems in use.
Now I have started a new project for the first time with the new calculator, and must determine that the preview playback jerky.
The throughput of the affected hard drive I have already tested: 45 MB / sec. Because lie can not do it then. Then I defragmented the disk synonymous. Without success.
As I said, with my old Rchner liefs seamless.
Kan someone give me a hint?

First many thanks for the reply, but:
1. Camera, tape
The jerky already occurs in the header (consisting of a Heroglyph Project), which are included only still images (photos). It takes the case but continued in the following synonymous with AVI clips.
2.1 Firewire connection: see 1

2.3 CPU Speed: See my PC config. top (2 x 3.6 GHz are utilized with less than 50%)

3. DVD: As'm still far from ...
The only thing would be the frame rate or the code (put the MainConcept DV codec). In the latter, I must go and see if I have consistently set the synonymous.
Has anyone another idea?

Have you tried other times the camera s.einem Calculator?

As already mentioned, I use the MainConcept DV codec. I have installed synonymous after rebuilding the machine and it is synonymous to choose in the settings in MSP 7 for my project settings!
But I can not find a corresponding entry in the Control Panel in the properties of video codecs. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times: no success!
Nor can I select the codec during capture with Scenelayzer!??
During the installation routine of the codec was no error message. It was only asked as usual after an installation (suggestion: C / Programs / Main Concept) and I had to enter the registration number.
Can someone tell me which file must be located where in the system directory? Then once I could see if there is to find something.

So once again:
The problem of judder occurs in the preview of a MSP 7 project, which is still in processing on the PC (so no DVD, no MPEG, ....). Furthermore, the jerking occurs already in the opening credits, in which no gecaptureter video clip, but only a Stillimage (JPEG File = download from the Internet) is built tracks incl. However, the jerk is synonymous continued in the subsequent timeline playback of the following (AVI) clip. The Festplattendurchsätze are with 45 MB / s more than enough.
So it seems to be a Hard-/Softwareproblem. My suspicion: I use the MainConcept (DV!)-Codec for capturing. See my post "Another supplement.
So, I hope it has now become clearer. So, go with the band jerky playback, MPEG compression and DVD playback, etc.!
Otherwise, just forget my post ...

It's really quite simple ... do not forget the preview time and do a test film that runs stable ... then you have narrowed down your problem and you can put yourself out going to involve a different still image (different format, etc.,). He run eg in wmp not synonymous smoothly, then you have probably a systemic problem?
Then again you're smarter.
