Hello Miteinander.
I am relatively new in the matter camcorder, and I've only recently a bought HV20. After I sent me a handskomunes MiniDV tapes brought hab 6p 4p and a firewire cable, I was briefly recorded and wanted to play on the pc.
I put a play go on .. nothing happens. windows movie maker and video magix recognizes nix, nix is synonymous bottom-line display of new hardware ...
Now I've read that there is so many, but not aware how old the post (another forum) is, therefore:
Mach ich was falsch?
If no: Is there a solution?

I agree with this question just on. I have a week synonymous since the HV20 and am of the recordings (unfortunately so far only s.einem normal CRT TV) inspires. I would like the data is now synonymous to the PC to be able to edit videos.
For me, the camera in the control panel as an unknown AVC device and is displayed with the error code 10 marked. I've synonymous to see if the MSDV.ini named correctly, and that everything fits so far.
Is there any way to the entries in the MSDV.ini accordingly, or a special driver for the HV20 to get? On the Canon side, unfortunately, still no drivers available for HV20, and synonymous with the HV10, I find nothing to indicate PC Drivers. And synonymous googling helps not to next time.
The manual is a very clever way, wrote that for the operation s.einem PC in any case an appropriate driver is needed - but unfortunately there is not where it gets ....

Super, problem solved. I did notice a thread on the HV10 found .. we must in the menu on DV output switch. This camera in Play mode, turn on, go into the menu, point to s.ersten AV-> DV go and turn on the whole. Now it should go.

Then transfer you probably are not in DV and HDV?
For my HDV camcorder (SonyHDR-HC3), the instruction writes a 4-pin-to-4-pin cables.
Maybe once in the BA of Canon after watching what was specified.

Also ich hab mir HDVsplit runtergeladen and thus capture my HD video. With the HV20, the program has been recognized.

that interests me! I have tried this is synonymous - but it is not, at least not with Ulead VS11 + (test version) and is not synonymous with AV Cutty. I have so far only problem HDV capturing scenes with HDVSplit, which then in. M2t files have been saved. That I happen to be with Ulead to PAL disc downscaling leave. I would however like to go right at the capture by the Camera themselves, since all write that this is the best result.
I simply feel that the HV20 (for me on WinXP SP2) does not work properly, synonymous when the installation has been no error.
With which program you have the AV-> DV output to running gekriegt?
