Frage von andi62:Hello helpers,
I have been trying for some time, video data of my camcorder (SonyDCR-TRV80E) on my calculator to play. This 4/6-poliges do I use a firewire cable that I am with the onboard Firewire slot of my computer connect.
Did XP with Service Pack 2 installed, which seems necessary Bzgl update Firewire but already installed.
The problem: In Device Manager will not IEEE1394Bus host or the like is displayed. Apparently, my calculator garnicht knows what he can do. However, I can trick the popular (and Rausnehmen stuck back here) does not run because the connection is indeed established, and not sitting on a map.
The result: all video software will not my camcorder!
Can someone help me, that would be wonderful. Thank you very much!
Liebe Grüße
paul

that there must be looking for?
because there are not any updates for the preinstalled device?
Antwort von leonhard lierzer:
If you do not find in the BIOS, you need to look again

Antwort von leonhard lierzer:

Antwort von fokuss:
the firewire port to work someday? or have you never used it yet? I've heard that the firewire can damage electronics when running computer equipment can be connected (I think there is synonymous with usb). depends I think with any unwanted voltages together. the front-firewire jack my computer does no longer synonymous, must now always cringe table below ...
Antwort von Markus:
[in the bios] that must be because I look? Firewire is more of a colloquial name. IEEE 1394 (more precisely: IEEE 1394a), it would technically mean properly.
Antwort von leonhard lierzer:
Okay, thanks for the tips, my Firewire jack sits forward. I've never used, think that should still be OK. Whether all connected, I will now look .. ;)
Thank you!
