First of all let me emphasize that I am a newcomer to the area and am so blessed with no clue.
Now to my concerns ....
I have a movie on my PC, about 2.3 GB large and I in *. wmv format. The film is with a specified Resolutionvon 800x600 (30FPS etc) and it is important that this is Resolutionbeibehalten. Why? Well, the film itself is in English Language and the creator him with subtitles (which are included in the film and it is not extractable). I take as a normal program Nero8 or Ulead Movie Factory, so I will (probably in the trans-coding to PAL 4:3 720x576) a lower portion of the image cut off and the subtitles are no longer readable.
My question s.die professionals: Is there any chance the film to transcode that EXAKT the image information are maintained, which includes the original and I then burn to a DVD on my television and watch it?

No, not really. Wrong size, wrong frame rate and with so Bastel programs like Nero will even nix. Resolutionverlierst you one way or another. There's no way turn over. You need a tool that extract and scaled according to a
standard 720x576 DVD (video) fit rather than simply cut off. Sure is synonymous with the Ulead because I have such home programs but not even on the shelves in the media market angugge, so I can not say much. Perhaps this is yet to convert to DivX? This will be of some DVD players (stand alone) synonymous understood - preferably of the cheap :-)
The experiment might be worth - with a DVD-RW.

thanks for the tips that you've given me. I was yesterday also synonymous throughout the day aufgeschlaut and am still on the
Windows Media Converter gestolpert, with one specifically trim WMV videos ... So can I have the video manual at the required levels are reduced and the horizontal value completely in the top picture taken (there is always a black stripe) ... Now fits :-)
