A question for a good friend of mine:
It has a JVC GY-HD 111e and cuts in Premiere Elements.
He might get HDV material via Fireweire in the PC game, and then cut back on the JVC transferred with DV material but did not succeed.
The offset at the output to tape a short while in the recording mode, but the LCD monitor remains black and it appears the error message "no DV signal" or something similar.
Thought it would be a setting thing, but have found nothing.
Has someone an idea?

Should we possibly s.der Camera explicitly the recording format to "DV" represent? I think I recall that some cameras so require.

Time the manual in hand and go into the menu, usually in HDV cams no problem synonymous DV material with DV IN in the Cam yourself.
