Hello,
I am an absolute novice in matters camcorder / video editing, but have managed to get even a few movies from the camcorder to the PC and on a VCD.
Now I've one problem: When I transferred my current movie on your PC (firewire, Ulead Studio 7) then plays the movie on the PC a lot faster than he is, if you look at it on the camcorder .. . Rumprobiert Have a little but to no avail. Then it occurred to me that I recorded the last film with LP mode, and with the current SP. So I inserted the old cartridge and transferred the film: this was running perfectly at the right speed. I put the cassette with the SP-film one, then it runs on the PC faster again .....? Looking at the movies on the camcorder, everything is always ok ...
Can someone tell me to what? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to adjust the software what?

Hello,
SP (Standard Play =) is the preferred recording type not only in digital video systems. Normally, it is rather long play, which makes problems.
Describe times but exactly how you go about capturing the images, so the camcorder (model?) Through its port (FireWire?) S.den PC and the project settings (DV-AVI?) In the video editing program.

So I have a JVC camcorder (I believe the GRDX 25E). I've connected it via firewire. As software I use Ulead Studio 7 Added I DV-AVI, but attempts have been synonymous MPEG and VCD. It just amazes me that it is functioning properly (correct speed) when I insert a tape and dub is included, with the long play. Short Play runs too slow ... On the camcorder, both films are normal.

I have exactly the opposite problem, I have a Panasonic NV-GS17EG if I have a long play tape einlege running it on the camcorder dubbing in normal and play on the PC too fast in fact that software I have Premiere 6.0, was with the Firewire Kit there. I am s.verzweifeln!! Attempts to convert days have been something, somewhere. But find nothing (not at the Camera and) not in Premiere. Actually, I find nothing at all on this issue. You are my only hope!!

The problem is simply that they will not purchase a camera with the right guidance, I had to move everything to the seller from the nose. Sorry to disappoint you, there are only Panasonic tapes. Thanks was nice meant. The quality is fine with me, both playing on TV, is as synonymous during the recording to your PC, the problem, as mentioned above, only in playback on the PC.
