Frage von dergutehans:Hello, and once again looking for a layman to help the professionals.
I recently in the now older Panasonic DV NV 10000 Mini-DV recorder bought at ebay. Unfortunately when I insert through Premiere CS 4 definitely not next. I have the recorder via firewire with the PC. My first problem is that I'm not sure on what mode I should make the recorder (ie, if "player" if "recorder" or "passive" - did I say "passive", but has not worked) . The second problem is that the recorder name in the device manager of Adobe Premiere do not explicitly listed (ie did it on the device "Standard" and "others" tried - unsuccessfully, unfortunately, synonymous). The third problem is that I have with the camera in HDV mode have the recorder but an ordinary DV recorder is-now I do not know whether I use the movie as a DV or HDV recording should restore. Did it finally with DV Recording and passive mode and I tried as far as that, I use the DV recorder on the device control in Premiere was able to operate, synonymous record was possible, but I got only a black picture with no sound.
Have no idea what I can try now. If someone has become one of the problems into just anything, I would have him / her eternally grateful!

You've given a DV recorder. The only DV and not HDV. If he is not HDV, it can be synonymous not play.
Place him on the "Player" and use a tape with DV material.

... Problem ... that I am with the camera in HDV mode have the recorder but an ordinary DV recorder is-now I do not know whether I use the movie as a DV or HDV recording will restore ... With an HDV recording on tape, a DV-recorder does not start anyway, because there is no need to question the attitude ;-) By DV10000, you can only restore the material that is already in the camera than on the DV tape landed.

Thank you for your answers! I had hoped that somehow I just reckon with loss of quality would have. Be something in DV mode and try to be yourself in Premiere. LG
