A somewhat more extensive documentation with a total of 2:20 a.m. I have with Pinnacle Studio 9.3.5 as a 8.5 GB image created (6000 KB / s, VBR), with Power DVD and then tested positive with Nero on a DVD DL (Verbatim ) burned. Both the image as synonymous finished DL-DVD can be viewed on the PC with Power DVD selected and clean play. The following problem is not with certainty be attributed to Pinnacle.
When playing the DL DVD to 2 Stehallein's (Sony, Samsung) I noticed that the 2 buttons in the main menu (movie menu) were not selected. If you press ENTER when Sonygar was nothing, when Samsung started the film. My submenus but I never got to face. The menu s.Player (display) itself but the chapters are selected and are synonymous played.
In the transition of layer 1 to layer 2, an additional chapter mark is inserted and precisely in the middle of the video. All in all I can and of DL ebenfallas only recommended, since it is still mostly synonymous PC drives, the DL can not read.

Problem solved !!!!!
Due to a mention of problems with Nero 6 I have Nero 7.5 installed. The Project (see below) back on the timeline fetched S9.3.5 with an image created, tested (ok) and with NERO 7 on Verbatim 8.5 GB DVD DL (photo printable) burned (2.4 x). Result:
The DVD is on the PC and on both Stehalleins (Sony, Samsung) cleanly played.
When switching of Layer0 on Layer1 occurs a short delay (probably normal, right?).

I've never been to DL-DVD, but in many authoring programs, you can replace the layer breaks themselves, then hiding the bill in a fade-over-black, where it is not noticed. (However, quite possible that Pinnacle can not)
Whenever possible, incidentally, still on SL discs produce as many Standalone DL DVD-Rs do not play perfectly no preference, with what version of Nero which was burned ...

1. Self-produced videos, which s.Verwandte and acquaintances are distributed only SL-DVD's
2. Movies, documentaries, only for their own use DL-DVD's
