Hello together,
I have of Panasonic designed a NV-GS20 bought there and had a UV filter attached. Now, after I made my first recordings did, I Scenes with some (not all!) Image following effect:
(see Attachment - page edges right)
I believe that with the light (of the left) could be related (mirror?). Meet manner can not s.linken screen monitor.
What synonymous funny is that this effect disappears when I zoom a little.
Oh yes ... and the effect is not always on.
What this behavior?
Why is it exactly and what did I do wrong?

Looks as if your camera so weitwinklig is that the margin of your additional filter Picture comes up with. When you zoom, of course, disappears.
If it does not always happen, then maybe hang with the Image Stabilization together. Look, if you're this ominous edge visible to replicate it. So Camera on Tripod, wide angle, zoom, with / without image stabilizer .... us next.

What this behavior? Looks like a typical vignetting from, caused by a too small or too thick filter in the beam path of the light towers. This would fit synonymous, that the disorder disappears when you zoom.

Then I will look at the "Troubleshooting" go.
Meet this way, but not at the edge of the LCD monitor.
Then I'll make a few shots and then transferred to the calculator ...

I had the filter just as dust / lens protection purchased. If the filter itself is the problem, then I will probably simply disconnect.

On the display you can see so synonymous only an excerpt, just like the TV. Keyword "Overscan" search.
If you only watch the videos afterwards on DVD (for TV) and look it is not commercial contract works, it can be neglected. Only if the videos come into the net, you will see that. Whether a world which now goes down, you decide.

Times so I can try one of the aforementioned Scenes on DVD burn and see if you can see the edges.
No, the material is not important. It is my first camcorder that I just for long weekend in Budapest had bought.
If only for me and certainly not a world where few Scenes I could not use. Though it would be a shame, but what does one expect when you have a camcorder with no previous knowledge simply buys and losfilmt drauf ... :-)

.... check 'it out, if your zoom goes wrong because it looks doomed after the lens version. Your grade zoom supplies, could fit so yes grad.
So Tripod, object center, and zoom schu'n whether the middle of the zoom right. If not, Camera complain.
