Hello, I'm beginners in video editing and not an expert synonymous with the PC. Unfortunately, I promised a friend's wedding with my old VHS video camera (JVC GR-FXM16) to film and a DVD to burn. With ebay, I have a Adaptec avc-2210 usb cheap auction included Sonic MyDVD version 6.0 and have, because I do not with the functions klarkam still Ulead video studio 10 plus acquired. With my hand-45 min VHS tapes and I have practiced with these avc-2210 and the software of MyDVD to the PC. The Clips? are probably directly in mpeg2 format. With Ulead, I can then actually quite easy and can cut 2 cut clips to a DVD. The render time, depending on what I've tried, including clips for both burn between 4 and 5 hours. The result is almost always better. Now I wanted to but with Ulead times directly to the PC. The program recognizes the avc-2210 as a source and I can choose between various formats (mpeg should be) choose. The film is synonymous in the preview window (somewhat smoothly), but after completing the recording, the reference "can not render the format." The manual helps me not synonymous with the next google and I get no real help. Since the whole thing to me now very much fun and I no unsolved problems can be (but is a quirk I can not sleep) I am hoping for help from the professionals here. For the one or the other tip in video editing, I would be very grateful of course, synonymous (incidentally read for weeks here in the forum). Best Regards and thanks already times in advance

To save, what your friend can still be saved:
S.Markus you turn, you let him of a quotation, which the digitizer of the VHS tapes to DV format costs. Let Mark do you like and the resulting scene AVIs as data on DVDs or an external hard drive type.
Thus you have a good basis for the post. Everything else, like your USB / MPEG Schmarrn thing, especially against the backdrop of by today's standards miderwertigen VHS materials.
These AVIs in DV codec then you can with your 10 + UVS cut / dubbing, etc. Only from the finished film you create a DVD. That should be 10 + with UVS go. If you have the DVD with menus, etc. want to spice it up, Get a distillery Ulead movie 4 or 5

Time, many thanks for the reply, I am almost daily in the forum for some insight into the matter to get. The technique of transmission of analog video on the PC / DVD is very often raised. The video quality I have the burning of my VHS tapes to DVD achieved, at least not worse than the original material. To approximate to get professional results with me that the missing equipment, the more basic s.PC time and synonymous.
To go forward first, I wanted to stop directly with avc-2210/ulead Capture (?) In order not to use MyDVD to go must. For me it is incomprehensible that the Ulead Mpeg format can not render the Camera even recognized and synonymous in the video preview window expires. Then you look at the membership list and the profiles of the members view. If you now the members in order of number of postings sortierst, you'll find top s.erster Markus with over 8000 posts.
