I hope someone can help me.
I have been practicing for fixed etneg weeks a camcorder and so, or to be viewed with Pinaccle 9.4 SE on the computer and processed restored, burned to DVD, etc. If everything worked out perfectly.
Now I have a bought external hard drive, which I would like to transfer the movies to edit and save respectively.
But it is not possible to transfer the films of the camera, it comes the following message: No recording possible dei max. Data rate is below v. 4213 KB / sec.
-2 Have a new USB card and installed on the hard drive is Max.Datentransferrate 480Mbit / s.
The computer is 4 years old, XP/SP2
Maybe someone knows what to do, or should I exchange the hard drive, if it should lie in it.

Hello,
the bottleneck in data transmission to an external hard drive is usually the connection between the PC and hard drive, but the hard drive itself, at least when high-speed USB, or - even better - uses Firewire.
Probably would be a Firewire hard drive at capturing uncritical, but then again the

Thanks for the reply,
shift of the internal hard drive to External not synonymous brings a 100% profit (always) again little stuttering.
I'll try yet another record with Firewire connection from, and if the will is not synonymous, for better or worse, I add a larger internal hard drive. Although rumschrauben I wanted nothing more, but needs be, it must be.

if you are a s.Schrauben, think about a change within the PC. Advantage of higher speeds than external, less problems.
