Hello!

I thought I'd try it here before, perhaps, knows jd play along with the variety of camcorders in Final Cut Express HD from.

The camera, which I use to play along, the Tp of JVC GR-DVP3E. As far as I remember, I have recorded before, and it had worked. Or am I mistaken?

In any case, Final Cut does not recognize the device, says it could be trying on direct shots. But that is not synonymous. When the camera is turned on before opening the editing program already, it hangs the system. In the meantime I have reinstalled the 2.Mal Final Cut, and now makes it even opened.

Question: Is the problem the camera, the cable, my settings in Final Cut?

Can I help someone in this respect? That would be great ...

1) try another Firewire cable
2) reset PRAM s.Mac, just reset the Open Firmware (google)
3) what settings you have chosen in FCE?
