Frage von Kepheus:Hello,
have a problem with the recording means Dazzle 150b. The hardware was installed successfully, although of WinXP SP2 and the device is manga available, but in the software Pinnacle Studio 9 or synonymous Moviestar nothing stirs.
My goal is to save old video recordings of my VCR to my PC and burn it onto a DVD.
To this end I have my VCR connected via the scart times (with adapter scart> s-video) with the S-video cable to the DVC150. From there it goes s.den PC via USB.
Back to the VCR: it's pretty old, 12-13 years old with safety. I dewegen times tested a TV, which is something new. Both but I come to the same final result, namely garnix.
Perhaps you can help me or give tips on how you've done that.

Hello,
is even if the direct connection from your VCR to the Television not see a picture and to hear any sound, then the VCR is either broken or it was not an appropriate use cable (s.besten would be a vollbeschaltetes Scart-Scart) cable.
If the wiring from the VCR to the Dazzle 150b, there are several pitfalls: the Scart-RCA adapter must be wired so that the AV signals in the direction Scart -> RCA to be conducted (scart input). Most Scart-RCA adapter, which you have at home and were the example in this camcorder, but are Scart outputs. Thus we have the cable s.end neither sound nor picture.
The next problem is that spending a VHS recorder no SVHS signal (Y / C). Includes one s.einen Scart-RCA adapter, a Y / C on cable, you can see only a black screen. You have a VHS recorder so take a composite cable (yellow RCA plug).
When it comes to you exclusively, dub VHS recordings to DVD, then I recommend you instead of an A / D converter rather have a DVD video recorder. Is easy to use, the dubbing is done as fast as a video copy, and the result will not deteriorate unnecessarily for lack of experience in the so-called DVD authoring.
