Hello Forum,
I teach s.einer Media Academy. There should 251er with JVC cameras in HDV 720/50p recorded. The post will be held in FinalCut Express and Studio instead. The problem. When capturing via the VTR or Camera program separates the recording into individual clips, whenever s.der Camera in the Studio REC REC STOP is pressed. But the clips are not exactly separate frame, but there comes the message "Searching Medium" then "medium found" and then the next clip created. There are no clips of the interface s.der always 3-4 seconds, during this search are not captured. What is the problem? Or even better the solution? Thanks and greetings, Carsten

in Final Cut Pro, there are cature mode for HDV capture tool even in a small check that the start / stop detection function. you can check wegklicken and then your clip as a whole, without interruptions captured.

No, this does not work with to remove the checkmark. The JVC HDV clips are always separated.
The only way the missing seconds to minimize it in the device control the lead to 1 second limit. Less will not do.
