Infoseite // Problems Capturing

Frage von allesgutevnn:

Hello Slashcam community,

I have the following problem: I have been snowboarding holiday with my new Camera SonyHC37E (DV) 3 60minuten Tapes recorded. Until trouble reading the display because of the strong sunlight, everything works great. At home, I wanted to now the three tapes capture, and then friends for a small film to be cut. Unfortunately I have not done it, synonymous only with a tape FULLY capture. Again and again there were errors. Once I then copied an entire tape, but then there was the sound kind of choppy.

This first time my setup:

PC
- AMD Athlon XP 2600
- 1GB RAM
- Win XP
- PCI Firewire card (of eBay)

The following editing programs I used to capture:
- Movie Maker
- Ulead Movie

Now to my questions:
1. Is it normal that the capturing such problems?
2. How could the sound problems (bucking) come from?
3. Is there maybe software that is better suited?
4. In which format you should capture, if you later want to cut? I am informed and always a DV-AVI format ...

I would be very happy if the pros a motivated newcomer could help.

Merci in advance
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

how much space is available on the hard drive (internal / external?) still available? If the contents of the hard drive may be fragmented? Running other programs (such as an anti-virus) in the background?

No..

The individual may vary. Try times synonymous with WinDVScLive.
