Hi,
I have been working longer with Avid Xpress Pro. Until now synonymous with no major problems. Only now I have times s.HD recordings already married and I plug in the mess.
I've now read all the threads and helps me unfortunately None next.
If my SonyA1 in DV mode, connect (or of converting HDV to DV let) everything works great.
If I HDV RESTRICT, then Windows does not recognize once again that even a camera is connected. The typical "new hardware" sound is heard. In Device Manager, etc. is nothing to find.
That's why I thought that it was a Windows problem and did all updates, patches, and what else is installed and it still does not. Virus scanner is off, cable and connector are not broken.
Also, I use the freeware program "HDV Split HDV recording (although the camera on Windows is not officially recognized). Since then, however, I get a. M2t file which I have formed and then next.
I can not believe that the capture in Xpress does not work!
Do you have an idea? I'm desperate, because, as always under enormous time pressure :-)

Unfortunately, help me this is not really next, because I have SP2 already installed and the corresponding synonymous Firewire updates.
In Avid I've reconfigured the decks and the firewire card, and also from one or umgesteckt again.
Nothing seems to help ...
Have written s.Avid times now and am curious.
Tips else?

You searched synonymous an "HDV 1080i" Project created?
It has to be explicitly an HDV project, otherwise nothing.
