Hello,
I am now trying unsuccessfully for some time, a 1394 connected via FireWire Panasonic NV-GS5 control on Windows 2000 using NeroVison Express3 and to bring the video to hard drive to.
It is used for the recording devices only "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR displayed" and occasionally can be synonymous to start the recording. Thereafter, however, no control, such as fast forward, stop, etc. the camera possible.
Is also in Geräteanager under "Imaging devices" only one entry "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR" available.
Device conflicts are not displayed, so I assume that the FireWire card no IRQ causes problems. Likewise, I've imported the latest DirectX version.
Perhaps someone has a useful piece of advice to hand.

do not know exactly how it behaves with irq sharing among w2000, it would still look more closely at times. many audio / video problems are caused. generally high "throughput irqs should stand alone ".....
