Frage von GinaMara:When cutting and logging with Final Cut Pro with an external hard drive (WD), the following problem occurred:
We have connected the MAZ and then could be the Final Cut Pro Project files no longer open, or opening takes so long that we had to cancel. Some files were initially open, but the complete loading of the files took forever. The Quicktime files could be opened normally. When you open the project files will be no error message.
When trying the data to another hard drive to copy, came the message: file / files may not be copied.
the 1st Assistance program of MAC, we can go through, there were no errors displayed.
Unfortunately, we have the technical details of little clue, so only a few basic questions:
could it be because the hard drive is broken? (The files are all displayed, but they can not really open)
Or is it s.den Final Cut Pro settings?
Since we urgently need to finish a project, we are thankful for every tip.

Inga and Kerstin
Antwort von PowerMac:
Ride down and everything is from the MAZ. Toggles the Firewire port s.Calculator and try it again new (MAZ s.lassen). Try out the launch of the calculator ALT + apple + P + R longer hold until he neustartet.

We had already removed the VTR, it is apparently not s.Final Calculator Cut Pro, as synonymous with the other users Calculator cut and since no problems have arisen. It seems s.den files on the external hard drive to lie. We have now tried the files on another external hard drive to copy, it could easily copy some files and others do not. Lets put it on a defective hard drive connect?
When you open a project file with Final Cut Pro has the following message: "The operation could not be completed unknown error: Error 1712"
Someone knows something about this error?
Thanks for the help,
Inga and Kerstin
Antwort von PowerMac:
Repair programs: Disk Warrior (the best), hard-utility (included in the Utilities folder)
Antwort von GinaMara:
When disk service program, we wanted the option: "permissions of the disk check" option. The button can be but do not click. When "enabled the owner" is "Yes" selected. Is there another reason why the "privileges of the disk check" are not available?
