Frage von binneugierig:Hello!
When converting of AVI files with the Prog DaViDeo converters, with some files I get the message:
"The video file could not be opened (may be a required codec) in their system does not exist"
I have checked the relevant files already with the Prog GSpot and get no error's codec's installed, wid reported ..
In addition, we can imagine the films with various Abspielprog. See the Calculator ... the funzt
Has anyone any idea what was not working properly?

Antwort von Stefan:
On PCs is not the same video codec video codec.
It is crucial, where einklinkt a video codec in the system. The modern way is a video codec, which attaches itself to the DirectShow system of Windows. Thus works such as the Windows Media Player. The older type of video codecs links up with the Video for Windows interface. Thus works such as VirtualDub.
GSpot gives you details what codec you need and if this codec for DS and / or VFW is available. For your information I can pull out any of the three more, than to speculate that the codec for DS, and there is not and the DaViDeo converter for VFW expects to VFW.
Good luck

Sorry with the beta of GSpot 2:51 I know my way not.
At the 2:21 version, you have two displays: the top right and bottom of VFW codec for DS codecs.
