Frage von MrMagic:Hello,
I've now created with the program TechSmith Camtasia of an approximately 1.5 GB large file, for presentation purposes, as I have included the screen of my PC. Now I get the error message when saving the first time that it would render possible, since no valid codec was found. In the past that never happened. The file is saved completely, but in avi format on the disk. You can, however, neither with the media player still playing with the Camtasiaplayer. What can I do? I NEED this file ...! Thanks in advance for quick help and good tips.
PS Have WinXP SP2 and graphics card is up to date
Gruss, Marco
HP will now be shown to me that it constitutes not a correct avi file. Can I convert to open such a file with any program or capture and into another format?
Antwort von nico:
It seems as if the TechSmith codec is missing or damaged. To my knowledge, there is the single and simple as helping install this one again.
Otherwise, I advise that you uninstall the whole program and only at instalieren again.
Antwort von prem:
So the TechSmith codec is there. How can I save the existing avi file? Yes reinstall solves only future problems, but what can I do with the existing file ...?
Antwort von steveb:
erstmal figure out what the format actually exists. Diagnostic tool to use (www.videohelp.com) and then convert perhaps with "Super" again (www.erightsoft.net).

Thanks for the tip! Can you tell me how the tool is called at "VideoHelp" because I have found nothing suitable on the page? Thank you!
