Frage von robertg:Hi Folks,
I have a problem with the conversion of DVB-T material to DVD-compliant video.
To this end the following:
I capture with the "Terratec Cinergy Hybrid XS" - USB receiver and the software "CyberLink PowerCinema.
The capture material is yes, then MPEG2, 720x576, 25fps, 192kbps / 48kHz audio, video 15Mbps, as well as DVB-T is sent to stop, right?
Next step is actually to demultiplexing, correct?
If I try with TMPEG, and then get a *. m2v and *. mp2 stream.
Actually, it is now before the material already in DVD-compliant formats, is not it?
So I want it now only authors yet. I've tried it with DVDAuthorGUI.
The import of the streams is wonderful, but then comes to the authors following message:
** ERROR: [???] Need to split output but there appears to be no% d in the filename pattern filename. Mpg
Error code # 5
There was s.error multiplexing in the titles. One of the m2v files has 'end sequence codes' in it that must be removed in order for it to correctly multiplex. This could be caused by s.mpeg joining program or something similar. Use ReStream to remove these 'end sequence codes'. OR there is this error message when using the alternative muxer in AuthorGUI:
ERROR: filename file. M2v stream is not a 11172-2 or 13818-2 Video.
4 [main] tcmplex 3284 handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION OR this:
** ERROR: [???] File unrecogniseable!
INFO: [???] File Filename. S.MPEG looks like mp2 audio stream.
** ERROR: [???] unrecogniseable file (s) ... exiting.
* authoring title (s )..... What's going wrong exactly? How can I fix it?
It should not really be that hard but a MPEG2 stream (which has virtually transformed in the DVD format is present) in an equally kind to burn it onto a DVD, right?
I've tried it now with a whole range of software, the only success was with CyberLink PowerProducer, but then there it takes forever, because everything will probably re-encoded.
And that is not synonymous sense of the thing was!
So I would be really interested what I'm doing wrong, what can the errors lie and how I finally got my goal to burn a DVD of DVB-material to come.
I'm happy about any suggestion
Regards, Robert.

If I try with TMPEG, and then get a *. m2v and *. mp2 stream ... Hello robertg,
That sounds suspiciously like already MPEG2 DVD compliant, synonymous to the frame rate and audio frequency. Why demultiplex then? Only costs time. Have you ever "tried Ulead MovieFactory 2"?
Place after the insertion of the video, the parameters corresponding to the source go down on the blue hook, select "Change MPEG Settings ..." and "compatible MPEG files do not convert"
The resampling will then go out much faster than with a complete recalculation of the entire film. I hope I could help.

Hello Robert,
the data rate of DVB-T can be between 2 and 15 Mbit / s.. The DVD-Video, however, only allowed a maximum total data rate (Picture and sound) of 9.8 Mbit / s. Ggf. must MPEG2 - video will be adjusted accordingly if the data rate is too high.

Moin,
times with PVAStrumento already tried?
I do not know how it is on Freeview, but in DVB-S is in the transport stream or other allerghand ballast inside, Channel ID, title, date, time, etc.
Either osSoftware to demux or P / S (Program Stream) and click the Audio tab, the first two ticks (remove grit ..)
Then it should go.

Thanks for the many replies.
So, in order:
No, the Ulead MovieFactory 2 I have not yet tried, not intended for free, right?
Would like to make with only freeware / Opencource.
The tip with PVAStrumento is worth gold.
Thus, folded hats!
Only then demux, and then I can handle the files with wonderful DVDAuthorGUI. Great tip, thanks.
(It is here only this information:
+ + 1 GOP (s) with more than 15 frames were found
+ + This is not "DVD compliant"
+ + It _may_ cause problems in DVD authoring or
+ + With some DVD players But then it still runs!)
Yet the question remains: Why do I only need demuxing?
When I PVAStrumento with "Make PS" conduct, and the entire MPS wants to add stream in DVDAuthorGUI, comes the message:
"NAV packets are not detected, please demultiplex.
What makes this message come about? How can I fix this so I have to demux any more?
In the authors will indeed finally multiplexed again -> duplicate work.
With what program can I just make the header of DVD-compliant? Without recoding and neuspeichern the file?
What are there?
Regards Robert

Moin,
With the GOP take the lengths of time not so tragic. I Know synonymous, is only a warning because it's just players are, who spin as they could. Ore probably the older ones. My GOP lengths generated with these DVD's at least run on any device with me.
Why is a soft demuxes wants it or not, is pointless to speculate over it. Get ready.
Your statement is not correct bezgl duplication, synonymous a PS would be re-multiplexed, the VOB files, which has only Picture and sound, even synonymous, and the subtitle Kapiteleinsprungpunkte.
Now that you can even choose whether or PS Demux is nothing for you twice as far as the acts.
I rejoice that it is synonymous with DVB-T and so is through your feedback.
And if you can not rest why this is so, then the developer had to ask the software. Sometimes they are gans glad to be able to improve something.

1.with "PVAStrumento demux"
2.with "Mpeg2Schnitt" cut
3.with "IfoEdit" Create DVD (DVD authoring)
4.with "DVDFab" VIDEO_TS.IFO create correct and DVD-sectors
5.zB "with Nero" burn the DVD

The capture material is yes, then MPEG2, 720x576, 25fps, 192kbps / 48kHz audio, video 15Mbps, as well as DVB-T is sent to stop, right? DVB-T is often broadcast only in 480 x 576 pixels, which is not compatible with any DVD player. One must find out whether playing the proportions right.
Otherwise, these instructions apply synonymous when it was written for DVB-S:
