Have a good 2 years since the DMR-EH56 Panasonic of and has always been very satisfied. At the 400 DVDs I've already burned. Since yesterday recognize my DVD drive no blanks, nor burned nor original DVDs anymore. It comes with a message "read error". The DVD Burners knew nothing more (no purchase finished - CD - or DVD, no blanks, no RAMS, no preference whatsoever...).
Three 'Klacker', then the NoRead - display and an end.
Panasonic - Service call - submitted (for 10.90 Euros and her way is ok).
Then 17 days heard nothing. Online - access to the editing is nice, because it was initially 'processing in clarifying' - then two short sentences:
1. Drive-defect diagnosed: If they want to repair?
It costs 148 Euro (rounded).
2. or require a disposal fee for 35 Euros + shipping?

Wa should I say the device was just out of warranty (3 months). Then the hammer with the bill:

The recorder is a DVD - burner unknown brand (I have not found out, acc. SKU can do anything, maybe Matshita / Toshiba). But just one.
A hard drive (Western Digital Caviar 160 GB / / WD1600BB of 2006) is included. This is not changed, I think, because it is still everything.
How can you change a drive twice, if only one is there, one on warranty / goodwill charge and the other for 55 euros + tax take?
Panasonic Germany with this in mind, that I found myself at the service center in Dusseldorf points - the next time I take Bielefeld or something else altogether. . .

On my today is exactly what happens. Now he shows constantly, that would have inserted a DVD, what is not.
