I have a SonyHC1 and a Windows Vista operating system.
My problem: When I use the iLink connect with Cam, it will be recognized only if a tape with DV images in it. If I were you with a tape full of HDV recording connect, it will not be recognized.
Does Vista make a special drivers?

I'm not quite sure what you mean exactly (bin Beginners). Do you know if I of HDV (Cam) on DV (PC) or would like to import of HDV to HDV? When HDV tape, I have everything on (1080i) HDV set.
