Frage von Peter Storm:Hello,
I have big problems when rendering large HDV files. In the case of a Ausgabefilegröße Ca. 15 GB crashes Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 Always. Setting 1080i HD PAL 50i to m2t files.
Also, the experience that the program may crash when the PC is not in motion stops. That means you have to occasionally move the mouse, so as not to activate the screen saver, but it is irrelevant to what time the screen saver is set.
Why?
(Note: I have this story already synonymous to the Vegas forum, but unfortunately so far there does not get a response)
Antwort von Axel:
Good reference with the screen saver. No screen saver, no time-out of any kind, no automatic standby if the calculator for DV editing is used.

Screen saver, virus scanner, etc. you should stop the rendering. You need the help, they verbraten only unnecessary processor performance.
I prefer synonymous when rendering the network cable out. Windows (Vista anyway and now synonymous XP) sometimes comes up with the idea of being asked to install an update, and then to boot, if you do not explicitly rejects.
Antwort von Peter Storm:
It remains now only one answer to the question about the 15-16 MB as the maximum limit for output files.
Incidentally, my approach is actually useful?:
1. I invite the films of HDV miniDV with automatic separation scene in Vegas one (true, unfortunately, not always exactly the end of the scene)
2. Cutting etc
3. Render the whole in Vegas Movie Studio to m2t (up to the aforementioned 15-16MB)
4. Take these m2t files in Vegas DVD Architect and create video DVD or later synonymous Blu-Ray disc (if I'm a Blu-Ray player will have)
Actually this is but a double rendering, right?
Antwort von tommyb:
Nope, not necessarily. The "re-rendering" are usually just re-rendered scenes that were changed (effects, transitions, etc.).
For my part, I export my projects lossless compressed with the codec LAGARITH (and YV12 colorspace). That works very well, leading to large files, but never from crashes.
