Hello,
I have my camcorder Panasonic - VDR-D160 bought in and thus leave some 500 scenes rotated, which I'm now with the program "Pinnacle 9.4" cut and Verton wanted. Unfortunately this is not front and rear.
The camera has a USB port, but I can with my computer (a somewhat older Dell laptop) to access the camera. This does not synonymous on the program of Pinnacle. Here I get an error that I get a "1394-interface" is required.
My first question: Can this be related to the fact that my calculator is already so old and have bill later this interface by default, or can, or should I be upgrading my computer?

My second question: Can I get with this. Vro format at work or there is a way, this file in the originally shot scenes without loss of quality in a format to convert, which is 9.4 Pinnacle understands?
Or would it make sense to the media market is Swit ... .- Camera returned to me and one for my project more suitable camera to buy?

VRO is one of two possible packages of MPEG-2 on DVD - the others are VOB files. In the VRO files MEPG-2 is inside - apparently still have many problems editing programs, to open it.

First to Full Processing Mode button, then on Compression and No Compression PCM select and click OK. Press F7; a folder / hard drive with enough free space and select Save.

Advantages and disadvantages of VR and Video Mode .... if one comes from the town hall, one is smarter: o). The camcorder I rather spontaneously bought me and made no major commemoration. Could not imagine that three lives have been studying computer needs to have the videos to be able to process.
