I have uninstalled my DV500 - Map and expanded to test something with my computer.
Up to this point, the DV500 funkzionierte problems.
In an attempt to take the new card in operation, I could not install the Ovelay. I always got the message that Windows can not install the drivers. Several attempts - same answer.
I have the installation as described in the manual several times repeated. Always the same.
Incidentally, I use:
- Windows XP Home SP2
- Adobe Premiere 6:02
- Pinnacle DV500 DVD v. 4.5 (Tribe v. 3.0)
Perhaps someone who has more experience with my DV500 has help.

Have the DV500 synonymous, but not the DVD version gibts (as a difference at all s.der card?)
Do you think that you get the hardware to install the "HP DV500 Overlay" a Fehlermedung? If so, how?
Have you installed the card later in the same PCI slot?
I want to give my time to another, but there it did not work. (Have an MSI motherboard)
Have you changed irgenetwas s.deinen hardware settings, eg in the BIOS?

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I think the cards are of the same hardware manufactures.
Only the software is called DVD and I need because it includes the Vers 3.0 Drivers. Without running the Windows XP untet nothing.
The error is that HP DV500 overlay is not installed by aund erscheit in Device Manager with yellow question mark in the circle.
If you could not instllieren then calls the Eigenschten then you get to read that will (for some reason not given) the Windows drivers for the device.
Whether the card was installed in the same PCI slot, I know there is no longer made in the operation had all the cards out.
S.BIOS also to changes commemorated by me so I can not exactly.
My motherboard is an Enmic 8TTX + with an AMD XP 2000 + and this I benuze only for the digitization of analog recordings. For the processing in Premiere Pro have another calculator with a P4 processor 3,2 Ghz.

Pinnacle DV500 card installed, drivers installed, restarted
Pinnacle DV500 DVD Vers 4.5 (Driver 3.0) installed, reboot.
Pinnacle Systems DV500 E4 correct.
Pinnacle Systems DV500 Overlay marked as faulty and the Medung
that the drivers was due to an error of Windows is not installed.
There must be a solution because it has already worked. Or?
