Hello I am new here and hope someone can help me that I have bought me an external hard drive and connect it s.PC! Description is indeed just connect and then OK, But Pc does not recognize them! Service pack I have and s. other Pc it is immediately found as new hardware! A colleague told me it may be that has to do with the USB to it and there is a program where old USB drivers can be recognized! Or are there any other advice that I almost despair

there is no system that works 100%. has to be done for a user circuit, the specific tasks to a particular operating system is useful (or more synonymous). that does not mean that one is better and the other not.
I have experience (both administration and software development) under VMS, Windows, Linux, MacOSX, Solaris, FreeBSD.
