Frage von badb:Hello, I've ne question.
at the system setting the program recognizes only "3" cores.
But I have "8"?
I have ne HP XW 8600 workstation.
Has anyone ne idea why the software does not detect all nuclei?
Do I have XP instead of Vista 64 maybe?
Best regards and many thanks
Antwort von Jörg:
Open the System Monitor with ctrl alt na, go there in the AE process.
right mouse button on this, membership set-> all (or desired) select cores.
Vista 64 would have been grounds of RAMzuordnung the better OS, but it should be synonymous plenty of RAM installed, for 4 G's worth it not ;--))

Please specify the exact specifications. This brings nothing, here in the blue hineinzuraten. Moreover, the question is whether other programs 8 Core recognize synonymous or not .... Sounding very suspicious somehow.

Well ... so I have the HP 8600 workstation
2xXeon5450 Quad 3.00GHz, Vista / XP 32bit, 4GB RAM,
Today again I get 4GB and Vista 64th
Maybe it already looks different from everything ... :-)
Antwort von unodostres:
XP has a more than modest support multi-core synonymous which was subsequently draufgebastelt. With Vista 64 do you as in any case better. Tip: Take at least the Business version does not home or something.

Maybe it already looks different from everything ... :-) As pointed out by previous speakers said - only Business and Ultimate support multiple processors, everything else will nix. That is exactly the problem synonymous with your current system, I would say - Vista Home Basic or Quark so'n it. The operating system does the 2nd Processor and the nuclei, but it manages not active and therefore the resources are not synonymous for Programs available.

Antwort von badb:
Sunday .. everything installed .... all schick :-)
8 Core will be recognized and synonymous memory is fine ...
How many GB of memory is actually useful?
Can da ne directive? So price / performance?
theoretically fit 64GB purely yes - but that would be bold too expensive.
Antwort von MPPLAY:
Hi, So as far as I know is synonymous Adobe After effect CS4 no more than 4 GB administer. It is not synonymous pure 64-bit application so far as the Photoshop CS4
Antwort von Jake the rake:
For rendering nevertheless recommends a core around 2Gig free to have ... (If it renders on multiple cores so now what you probably want to do ...)
Antwort von MPPLAY:
Hello, yes I will das .. I was just a pity that Adobe After Effect is still not a pure 64-bit applications has become.
