How does look like the picture quality of my old SonyPC100 in Comparison with the current camcorders?
I've got absolutely no idea whether today's camcorders are better, or s.welchem price they are better?
Actually I am interested in the HC series, since it is a cheap underwater housing, but I could not seem to replace my old PC100, because (if I did not see it) are missing the current models headphone and microphone input.
My Micro Sony ECM-S959C I would really like to use next.

Would have to be synonymous, that I am told, the PC100 is compared to current Cam's totally outdated and is in Comparison schrottiges Picture.
Strong noise in lowlight bothers me already, I know not just whether newer Cam's da better able to deal with.
Furthermore, I would naturally like to UW with Cam snorkeling and affordable housing, there is probably only for the DCR-HCXX series.
Possibly. i get some time, a DC46 as Zweitcam for which synonymous DV / IN, but if my PC100 times gives up.

Modern Billigcamcorder have sometimes been problems s.hellen days filming in rooms. Then there is more noise than TV broadcasters 30 years ago after Sendeschluss. ;-) Or the noise filter is set so strong that the camcorder produces significant artifacts.
Looking the other hand, the consumer-model, then we see even in poor light and with maximum signal gain is still considerable, and low-noise images (example: SonyVX2100, about 2,400 ¬).

In low light, there is thus only appropriate improvements in the consumer class. I thought there would have done something electronical.
Sure I would be "sharp" on a VX2100, there would have been synonymous again with more in hand or on a tripod.
Panasonic GS500 or SonyHC96 synonymous times I had thought about it after, but if these are not really better anyway ...
Also, the GS500 lacks the headphone jack and the headphone output and microphone input HC96.
Once a year I take on more of an amateur stage performances, as synonymous, I need these inputs / outputs.
What housing do you think? By Ewa-Marine, there are synonymous

The missing Microphone and headphone jacks are without question a bad habit of Manufacturers (greed-Geil-) rigor.
However, you can even record with a microphone input stage plays seldom with a good sound because the microphone close to the stage must be s.der, the camcorder but also far enough away and a long cable between Microphone and camcorder in the consumer area (because of unbalanced signals) are absolutely taboo.
Here's my tip: the microphone close s.der stage set up and record a separate audio recorder. The camcorder returns to this sound then the appropriate picture, which is created in post-synchronously to each other.

At the moment I take with the Sony959C and shielded cable at approximately 9m. How long do I have the PC100 only with Battery pursuing, I have not synonymous disorders. So I'm glad that there is the QM91.
Operated with AC power or (to borrow) a mixer with mains power in between, there were of all humming and FM stations.
I would be long term (now up to about March rest anyway) like to 2 XLR mic via a mixer to go to the Page to be safe.
Foresee whether it will actually get for the SonyHC3 times as a micro accessories connection. Whether Sonyoder third-party. The HC3, incidentally, would fit synonymous in the UW housing. :-)

now I want to latch myself synonymous times. I have many years synonymous the PC100, which has served me really good service and with whom I already had some film rotated. By WW-converter and the fat battery and the Micro 959, which I possess synonymous, one is prepared for all eventualities.
The image quality is still good. I have then a few weeks ago, the HC1 HDV Camera Of Sonygeholt. Just at the right time, because shortly thereafter I noticed the PC100 on a ship when removing them from the Video bag on the floor. Although only 5 cm away, but the ever assembled, and especially heavy WW converter broke out in a Screw. Everything around was broken by the lens. I have collected the parts and then re-glued with superglue. Now, although the manual focus does not work anymore, but I've hardly used anyway. Everything else is still in perfect order.
Nevertheless, I'm filming in the future, usually with the HC1 (or with my Schulterkamcorder of JVC GY-DV5000). The HC1 has the advantage that the WW and Batteries PC100 can also be used. The image quality is synonymous in the converter mode, HDV -> DV very good. Sharpness and color are better than the PC100. Since progress has brought something.
The PC100, but still serves as recording and playback device for mini-DV tapes.

The ideal would be perhaps because the HC3, when finally someone offers a micro input as accessories.
When I would get the HC3, I can imagine I feel bad for the next performance of the laity troops "just shoot" with the PC100 too.
External sound recording would, of course synonymous one possibility, but what shall you say? Hmm, I have not yet engaged with me.
