Frage von abrakadabra:Hello,
I have a question regarding digitizing old analog Video8 and Hi8 recordings. I have already used in many websites and forums looking for the answer but found nothing. It concerns the quality.
I have a Digital8 camera SONY TRV 520E. About this camera, I have now started my first Video8 recordings to digital conversion. The Camera is via firewire s.den PC and the video will s.PC of Pinnacle Studio 11 and captured in DV AVI written
The Picture has both the display of the camera as synonymous when I use the Camera s.das TV much better colors and is brighter.
I had assumed that Video8 recordings in their original quality in DV AVI (with 25000 kbit) can convert. It is apparently not.
Can someone please explain why this is so?
Is this normal so, or it may be due to the codec in the camera may not be as good?
Thanks in advance

See synonymous:
Video recordings s.Computermonitor not look good What you at Video8 still could improve would be the image noise and the color shift. Otherwise, a D8 camcorder with playback function for analog video runs.

Thanks for the information.
Maybe you can tell me synonymous, as the color shift and noise can be improved.
I have Pinnacle Studi 11.0. There, I have such a possibility can not be found.

Anything
ic would have thought that in the transmission of analog video to DV 8 pictures (as described above using a DV camera), no quality is lost, because I thought (probably wrongly thought) that 25000 bits / sec of the DV Information of V8 can hold. Does not this idea?
Secondly, I have something of my first posting corrected: The Picture of my cassette V8 is very nice (Bright, contrasting with the beautiful colors) in the LCD monitor of the camera but with a bit dull and distorted colors both on the PC as synonymous to the 100Hz tube monitor . Why is that?
I have different contributions of synonymous you find where you are pointing out that the camera shots (Digital synonymous?) S.besten with a tube TV can be viewed 50i. This means that the videos on the new LCD TV (HDTV) is not so good to see you like on an old tube device 50i.

Maybe you can tell me synonymous ... I can not, because I no Pinnacle software. Corrections to the color shift and a reduction in image noise can be retrofitted Usin Adobe After Effects, but that costs a lot of money (cost of software and plug-ins) and renders a very long time. -> Is totally uninteresting.
... ic would have thought that in the transmission of analog video to DV 8 pictures [...] no quality is lost ... Why should quality be lost? A recording Video8 irritates the scope of Digital Video (DV) are far from established and if the A / D converter is not a toy (eg Videograbber or graphics card), then we see no difference synonymous (in negantiven sense) to the original analog .
The Picture of my cassette V8 is very nice (Bright, contrasting with the beautiful colors) in the LCD monitor of the camera but with a bit dull and distorted colors both on the PC as synonymous to the 100Hz tube monitor. Why is that? This is usdaran that you like the LCD display something underprivileged, so this does not exist: Excessively bright and color video recordings. In the above list, I would s.ehesten the 100 Hz Television faith, if it is a tube device.
I have different contributions of synonymous you found ... A big praise s.Dich that you've tried the search function. This does not create many. : D
... where you pointed out that the camera shots (Digital synonymous?) s.besten with a tube TV can be viewed 50i. This means that the videos on the new LCD TV (HDTV) is not so good to see you like on an old tube device 50i. Let us consider this: A tube TV with 50 Hz is exactly meant that 50i can view recordings. It fits just perfectly together.
When LCD Television, however, it is very much of the quality of the TV (or more accurately the deinterlacing, the scaling, the response time, brightness and contrast to the behavior) depends on how good or bad video recordings to look like. Packages can not be answered.
