Frage von MartinEOS:Dear Forum,
I rise on you, because I used a Canon XL1S had increased in the run up to me and have tried a comprehensive picture cameras on other sources.
Something out of ignorance, I have me a NTSC camera purchased - more or less because the price was okay.
I use the camera exclusively for the film that I contribute to create online magazines.
The "format" is Flaschvideo (FLV), is perhaps a bit overdressed with a XL1S, but when I put a camera worth synonymous to high quality engineering, which I do not let you down.
What do I need to know, so I do not problems because of the NTSC system used get?
Besides the color difference (which I currently do not really know), the effective image size varies.
How can I possibly compensate for that?
I work with Final Cut Express 4 on the Mac.
Thanks for your advice.

Something out of ignorance, I am aiming to buy Camera NTSC - more Probably on ebay? What always synonymous ... if you put the item description the seller still have the magic letters "NTSC" no or very little up and hidden inside the purchase not too long ago, you have a good chance of a withdrawal from the Purchase enforce. In a non-existent, for example, notice could be seen as deception operations.
NTSC is sold here for a camera so unusual (and simultaneously makes them synonymous fairly useless for local use), as would the NTSC property quite clearly predominate.
Technology: On the image you will only by scaling something can change. Surpassing the (blurred anyway) NTSC picture is not. Whether it is due to the different frame rates 60/30 (NTSC) to 50/25 (PAL) and the reaction to flicker s.PC could no clue. But look you here at times, the transformation, for example, a PAL DVD to create, is not without problems.
My advice, therefore: Camera either return or resell (do not forget the NTSC notice).

Well ... NTSC stood quite large for e-Hai ... : (
How can I understand the child get out of the fountain, where it is now purely fallen?
DVD is rather uninteresting - I'm interested only in the transformation of the popular computer formats, such as contributions for the said movie online.

DVD is rather uninteresting - I'm interested only in the transformation of the popular computer formats, such as contributions for the said movie online. Is not that already the Camera with the (quasi) progressive mode? This then
would be ideal for processing into Webfilmen suitable.
Broadly speaking and is not a child fell into the fountain, because NTSC is less "beautiful" (smaller resolution), but here in reality no great re-issue or transfer.
But I believe that the advantage of providing a progressive recording Cam bought (because Webfilme not interlace may be due to the scalability, etc.), simply would have been even greater with a PAL version.
Explanation: 24p DV characterized only in a 30i (60i) on stream. You must first take a "pull" (search) to apply.
On the other hand, 25p is 50i with a check "Progressive" in the timeline.
Try this with the pull out. If it is not overly burdensome, such as less expensive than "i" after the material quality to deinterlace, you could be the camera from this point to keep quiet.
To "color": Does the NTSC preset of FCE s.Computer correctly interpreted and displayed in RGB.
Add to "image": display on computers anyway only with square pixels, plays no role.
Not mentioned problem: mixing projects. Cams of European material can only be inserted with a loss of quality.

Super explanation, I am still synonymous in FCE reinmuggeln. IMovie, I had it, so it was my first program. The possibilities for FCE are a lot better, but really because I'm still not synonymous drin.

For Digital NTSC color space, there are no differences to PAL ... only analog NTSC transmission, the setup level (pedestal) is relevant.
